As part of its annual efforts to send a portion to those for whom nothing is prepared, the International Women’s Ministry For Intercession (IWMI) has renovated the Ajuwon Primary Healthcare Centre in Ogun State. The dilapidated state of the healthcare center was a major concern to the group, and they sought to help refurbish it to a more presentable facility in order to improve access and usage of the health facility by community members.
The group visited the Ajuwon Primary Healthcare Centre in Ogun State on Sunday, 5th December 2021 to commission the successfully completed renovation project that had been carried out. During the visit, IWMI also donated several essential items to the facility, including patients’ waiting seats, staff seats, hospital ward curtain dividers, bed covers, weight scales, and blood pressure devices. The donations were intended to help the healthcare center offer better quality services to its patients.
The Executive Director of IWMI, Mrs. Best Eiterebhe stated while giving her remarks that they were driven by their passion for healthcare and their desire to provide support and assistance to those in need. She added that their focus was on ensuring that the healthcare center could cater to the needs of the local community and provide quality medical care.
“The renovation of the Ajuwon Primary Healthcare Centre is just one of the many initiatives that the International Women’s Ministry For Intercession (IWMI) will undertake to support the most vulnerable members of society,” She said.
The healthcare center’s management, on its part, thanked IWMI for its support and promised to utilize the items donated in the best possible way to ensure that patients receive the best care, stating that the renovation would go a long way in improving their healthcare experience.
