Voices from the Watch

I had a severe eye issue for about five days that became more complicated on the fifth day as my eyes couldn't open. I was miserable and cried all night until I called the IWMI Coordinator around 11:43PM. She prayed for me, instructing me to place my hand on my eye and to speak in tongues while focusing on the Holy Spirit touching my eyes, then assured me the infection had left and I would be okay by the following day. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the best sleep of my life that night and woke up without any pain except some fading redness. I'm here to bless God for healing me.

I want to express my appreciation to God for safeguarding my household from a fire outbreak. While preparing breakfast, my electricity stopped working and I switched to gas without turning off the electric cooker. I went to work and only discovered dark stains in my room upon my return — a fire could have started due to my negligence. But thanks to God, the situation wasn't severe and nothing was lost. I'm grateful to God for this deliverance!

In February 2021, a scan revealed I had an ovarian cyst, fibroid, endometriosis and an unbalanced hormone that required surgery. I prayed and believed God would take care of my uterus. When my period delayed for months in 2022, I reached out to the IWMI Head of Service, who prayed for me alongside other executives; they had me drink Holy Ghost water for seven days and saw a vision of a hand drying up the blood around my organs. To my amazement, at another scan the lab scientist could not find anything and declared everything was perfect — including my uterus and ovaries. I was speechless!

I want to thank God for preserving my life after losing my job while being pregnant. I was among 25 staff downsized in my former organization and cried bitterly for days; my husband's business was also struggling. The Holy Spirit instructed me to apply for jobs and reach out to the IWMI Coordinator, who prayed for me and prophesied about light entering my home. I received an interview invitation and was offered the position of finance manager — even allowed to work from home after delivery, with additional benefits. My husband's business also picked up. I am extremely grateful to God for coming through for me when I nearly gave up.

I praise God for my sister's success in passing her pre-council exam despite nearly falling into a depressive state. She was told it was too late to take the exam just before we could send the balance. Together with an IWMI sister I prayed for her, then called the IWMI Coordinator, who revealed there was a contention against my sister and instructed us to fast and pray for three days. To the glory of God, my sister passed the exam and is now in her final year.

I've come to give thanks to God for my family's kindness and favor upon us, especially my eldest brother and his family, who finally received their permanent residence permit after waiting since 2016. I also enjoyed favour during my interview and got a new job. The grace upon IWMI made ways for me and caused everything to fall in place to favour me. I thank God for the IWMI Coordinator — she has always been a blessing to me.
